Hello,

Welcome to my website! I am a journalist based out of Washington, DC. For the past five years, I have been a business reporter at S&P Global Market Intelligence, covering the insurance industry with a focus on regulatory developments and policy.

As an insurance reporter at S&P, I worked hard over the past five years to highlight important issues that weren’t previously being covered.

For example, I wrote a series of groundbreaking reports using in-house data analysis to do deep dives into Environmental, Social and Governance topics such as gender and racial diversity in the insurance industry, analyzed insurers’ investments in fossil fuels and stayed in close contact with key regulators amid a push to identify and eliminate insurance practices that discriminate against people of color and economically disadvantaged groups.

I also authored a white paper that delves into the increasingly dire impact of climate change and the risks it presents for insurers as wildfires and other natural catastrophes force premiums to rise, or cause non-renewals in coverage, which has a negative impact on residents in certain areas.
